About the Designer

Samantha Ince has always been intrigued by fashion design and the fashion world: “I started designing for fun at 14 and somehow I convinced myself that this was what I wanted to do as my future career. I would admire all the good designers on the international runways like Tom Ford and try to outmatch their designs. As I practiced more and more my style started to become individual and altogether different.

After doing 2 years of Clothing and Textiles in Girls High School, I went on to complete my study for an Associate Degree in Fashion Design at the Barbados Community College. Starting my own fashion line was simply the next step for me. I went on to take part in several fashion shows including Fashion Caribbean in St.Vincent which was quite well-received.”

“I want my future customers to be confident that each piece they purchase is made with care and strict attention to design detail. It’s important to me that the Mosaic brand be synonymous with an old-school Hollywood quality and class!”

Her designs are functional, to reflect a woman’s busy lifestyle, whether it be a bit edgy or a bit conservative. Both of these elements can be found present in each of her designs.
